Guillermo is a Texas native from the small rural town of Uvalde. He is a graduate of McMurry University and St. Mary’s University School of Law. He is certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Prior to forming Rivera Hernandez Campos PLLC, Guillermo managed the immigration practice at Vidaurri, Lyde, Rodriguez & Haynes, LLP. He also worked as an immigration attorney for the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) in the San Antonio office. Guillermo is based out of the San Antonio office and focuses his practice on representing individuals and businesses in U.S. Immigration and Nationality law cases.
Guillermo currently serves as the Chair for the Texas, New Mexico & Oklahoma Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Justice for All Immigrants. He is a frequent speaker on immigration law topics on the national, state and local level at continuing legal education conferences.
Additionally, he is an active pro bono attorney with American Gateways. He and his wife, Erica, are parishioners at St. Luke Catholic Church and are active volunteers in parish ministry.
